　　 Aimee Mann 曾经是80年代新浪潮团体Til Tuesday的主唱。解散后Aimee Mann在1995年在美国梅尔罗斯（Melrose）地区成功推出了单曲《Thats Just What You Are》后，于1995年春开始准备她的第二张个人专辑，但Imago公司却在专辑出版前破产了。Mann遂与Reprise唱片签订了合同，但Imago却阻止她出任何专辑。整个95年Mann都在努力尝试让Imago公司给她厂牌上的自由，终于在年底得到了自己的独立。解决了与Imago厂牌的纷争后，她签约于DGC唱片公司。她的第二张唱片《I am With Stupid》终于在英国发行，96年1月开始在美国发行。专辑再次赢得肯定，但销售量却并不乐观。

　　 Aimee Mann目前以个人名义至共推出4张专辑，以知性才女形象为乐迷熟知。另外为电影心灵角落所创作的主题曲Save Me，则使她入围奥斯卡奖最佳电影歌曲。此张Lost In Space迷失，是这位创作女歌手2002年的最新专辑。
